Take a Walk

Exercise and Creativity

I think you could substitute “the great secret of creativity” in the above quote. At least for me, I do better when I combine some physical activity with the mental activity of writing. I twisted my knee slightly in January and have been hobbling around; but it’s almost healed. This morning, I got up and took a one mile walk. That, combined with the warming weather, is lifting my spirits!

Spring is almost here. It’s time for hikes and novels!
