I think you’re awfully cute, and you explained well. However, I pay for the amount I download and vlogs are way more mega than a html text-page. Perhaps both the vlog and a transcript would be a good solution, so people could choose to read or watch. Thanks! :-)

I love your site and email newsletter. Tips and guest posts of yours helped me reignite a stagnant novel that, more or less, sat for 18+ months. For resurrecting my passion and putting me back on my God gifted path, I am beyond indebted to you.
Now that the much deserved @$$ kissing is out of the way, my opinion on video blogs.
There is a lot of the “vlogs” now, and I just can’t get myself to dig them. Reading for me is (of course) much faster. Sometimes people are in places where they can’t have sound, or couldn’t hear it well if they did. Some people have limits on data (especially those who use phone for browsing a lot, like me).
However, I know a lot of people like these video blogs, so I agree with Lexa’s ideas on having a transcript below the video. That way we get the best of both worlds.
Of course, the problem with the transcript is the additional time to make one. Or the additional cost of paying for one. I am considering everything, though, for next year. Thanks for your take on the issue.
